The Committee has considered various ways in which it can support the membership and has agreed on the following.
If you have any questions or comments please don't hesitate to raise them with any member of the committee.
Over the course of the rest of 2011 various other announcements will be made to encourage everyone to get more involved in district and national events as well as events that we as a club organise locally (more to come on that front in due course).
1. Entry Fees (open events)
Entry fees for the following events will be covered by the club - in return for covering this expense riders are kindly asked to write a short piece (one line to one paragraph) on the event and if more than one rider is participating then agree over tea and cakes at the end who is going to write the report.
- Scottish National Time Trials
- 10 Miles 29th May
- 25 Miles 12th June
- 50 Miles 26th June
- 100 Miles 7th August
- Team Time Trial - 31st July
- Scottish Cycling Youth Time Trial Championship - 28th August
- SVTTA Championships
- 50 Miles 21st Aug
- 100 Miles 4th September
- Vets Road Race Championship - Alford 28th Aug
- Any Super Six Road Race
- Ten Under the Ben - 21st May
- 10 @ Kirroughtree - 9th July
- Relentless 24 - 8th Oct
- Scottish Cross Country Series - Various
- Scottish Cross Country Champs - 4th September
There was a general consensus that whilst the Club encourages people to participate in Sportives these were seen as largely recreational and as a result there was no desire to pay entry fees.
2. Individual Awards will be made to individuals in the following categories based on outstanding performance over the season - the names in brackets indicate the award for 2010.
- Male (award for 2010 Phil Kelman)
- Female (award for 2010 Shelley Farrar)
- Junior (award for 2010 XXXXX)
3. Special Events (reasonable expenses and one set of club clothing (either a skin suit or jersey & bibshorts)

- Mersey Roads 24 TT
4. Alan Campbell Award
More detail to be provided on this shortly but in essence this award will be made by the incumbent and has been introduced to honour Alan's contribution to the club over the years |
